Sadjad on an exploratory trip to Great Lakes in 2015 as a part of Great Lakes Fish Monitoring and Surveillance
Founder & CEO
Dr. Sadjad Fakouri Baygi is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Linker Sciences. He has over a decade of experience in computational and experimental mass spectrometry with a focus on applying high-resolution instrumentation to drug discovery and molecular characterization. His work spans method development, large-scale data analysis, cheminformatics, and precision workflows for identifying unknown compounds in complex matrices.
Sadjad has led industry projects integrating experimental design with AI/ML workflows to build scalable mass spectrometry platforms and end-to-end analytical pipelines for compound discovery and characterization. At Linker Sciences, he applies this expertise to develop a mass spectrometry-powered platform aimed at transforming drug discovery and development.
Bernard Crimmins, Associate Research Professor at Clarkson University
Scientific Advisor
Dr. Bernard Crimmins is a Professor at Clarkson University with extensive experience applying high-resolution mass spectrometry to complex ecological samples. As Project Manager of the US EPA–funded Great Lakes Fish Monitoring and Surveillance Program (GLFMSP), he has led efforts in chemical discovery including automated screening of complex high-resolution mass spectrometry data, development of hybrid targeted/non-targeted methods, and advanced mass spectrometry data processing pipeline development.
At Linker Sciences, he provides guidance on characterizing complex biological mixtures and supports the design of reproducible untargeted workflows aimed at detecting and identifying novel chemical entities in chemical library kits of the Spectra Decoding Platform. His expertise strengthens the company’s goal of building natural product library kits from the Great Lakes and other under explored sources.
